This Kent County park will soon be home to 6 miles of mountain biking trails

KENT COUNTY, MI – Within the wooded natural areas of the 224-acre Johnson Park, the Kent County Parks Department will soon begin to carve out six miles of accessible mountain bike trails.

The park at 2600 Wilson Ave. SW in the Grand Rapids suburb of Walker has more than a dozen features highlighted by the county.

With 1.5 acres of Grand River frontage, the park boasts a paved multi-use scenic trail, boat launches, fishing, two playgrounds and a sledding hill…
