Long-time readers of my column (both of you!) know how enthused I get about attending the High Point Market. It’s a huge rally to celebrate an industry that is generous to put more than $120 billion in all our pockets every year (including some weaker years) and can do much more when our population and economy reward us.
It’s made up of thousands of hard-working professionals who love to help Americans have the most fashionable, comfortable, colorful, safe, interesting and smart homes, such that are all blessed to live here in the U.S.A.
After about 55 years, I consider all these professionals not just friends, but family. Together, we have survived nine recessions, wars, strikes, riots, floods, hurricanes and landslides…
