A man was arrested by Tampa Police in an attempted bank robbery.
Earlier this month, Tampa Police officers responded to the Truist Bank at 16102 Bruce B. Downs Blvd in reference to an attempted bank robbery. The suspect entered the bank and implied that he had a weapon before fleeing the scene on foot.
Aaron James Spencer was arrested and charged for the attempted bank robbery in April.
Investigators were able to gather evidence, including fingerprints, and quickly develop leads, pointing them to a recent address connected to the suspect…
