DALLAS — New Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux will earn a base salary of $310,000 per year, with an additional $20,000 retention bonus and $10,000 performance incentive annually, his offer letter revealed.
The salary alone means Comeaux will earn more than the former top cop, Eddie Garcia, whose final compensation agreement with the city ensured he would be paid more than any other chief in Texas.
