The Benton County Emergency Management team will host an informational meeting from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Independent Community Center south of Philomath, organizers announced.
The event will feature discussions on risks from natural disasters, such as wildfire, flood, ice storms and earthquakes, and how to prepare for them. Information will be presented on how to receive emergency notifications and get started on preparedness plans.
