LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Thousands of runners took part in the annual Kentucky Derby Festival Mini/Marathon race Saturday morning, kicking off a fun week of derby events.
One of those runners was Sean Brownfield, who ran his first half-marathon.
“It was fun, it was pretty flat, it was nostalgic running through U of L’s campus,” Brownfield said. “It was cool to run through Churchill Downs and the finish line was fun.”…
