HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A local non-profit animal sanctuary in Windward Oahu is facing tough financial times and is struggling to stay afloat.
Nestled in Kahaluu, with the beautiful Koolau as a backdrop, amid the crows or roosters lies the Aloha Animal Sanctuary, which holds a yoga class to help raise funds for operating expenses.
The sanctuary is one of the few animal sanctuaries here on the island of Oahu. There are 45 animals who calls this place home and 120 people who help take care of them…
