Pedestrian dead after hit-and-run crash on US 29 in Greensboro: Police

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man is dead after police say he was hit by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Greensboro on Sunday morning.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded to US 29 North/I 40 East merge and Randleman Road exit and found a hispanic man lying in the roadway with “injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.” The man was declared dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not been released. Police are still working to identify the make and model of the suspect vehicle involved in the incident…
