Island residents and commuters traveling from Key Biscayne to Downtown Miami or back should prepare for nighttime road closures as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 6, continues its resurfacing project along SR 913/SW-SE 26 Road, near the Brickell Avenue and South Miami Avenue intersections.
The roadwork, which impacts a main route between Key Biscayne and Downtown Miami, is scheduled from Sunday, April 27 through Friday, May 2. Expect lane closures nightly from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., with all lanes reopening by 6 a.m. the following morning.
No detours are planned, but delays are likely, so plan your travel accordingly.
