ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash early Sunday killed a man, left three other people with serious injuries and forced the closure of all eastbound lanes on State Road 408 in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 3:19 a.m. on eastbound S.R. 408 in the area of mile marker 21 (N. Alafaya Trail), troopers said.
According to an FHP crash report, a 2019 Dodge Durango and a 2007 Ford Expedition with a tow dolly were stopped in the center lane of S.R. 408 due to a previous crash between them. The drivers of both vehicles, as well as the two passengers who were in the Expedition, had all exited their vehicles and were standing in the roadway between the two SUVs when the next crash occurred, the report states…
