71-year-old pedestrian injured in hit-and-run

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department is asking the public for help in finding a vehicle involved in hitting a 71-year-old pedestrian on Saturday evening in Rochester.

RPD responded to West Ridge Road and Bonesteel Road at 9:10 p.m. on Saturday after reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

Officers, along with the Rochester Fire Department and an ambulance, arrived at the scene to find a 71-year-old homeless man had been struck, but the vehicle involved had fled.
