MS educators shine on the national stage

JANS – The Educators Rising National Conference is more than just an annual gathering – it’s a high-energy celebration of future educators from across the country. Every year, thousands of high school and college students, teacher leaders, and education professionals come together to share ideas, build networks, and gain hands-on experience that empowers the next generation of educators.

And this year, Jackson is making its mark!

Rhonda Murphy-Johnson, the passionate and dedicated Educator Preparation Teacher at the Jackson Middle College and Career Development Center, will be presenting at the 2025 Educators Rising National Conference. But she’s not going alone. She’ll be joined by Asiah Scott, a graduating senior at Forest Hill High School who’s already blazing trails as a sophomore at Jackson State University majoring in Mathematics Education…
