Shreveport, LA – Shreveport Police Youth Services detectives are investigating a troubling case of child abuse that led to the arrest of Brittany West. Officers were called to a local school where two juveniles, ages 14 and 11, were found with multiple scars and lacerations across their bodies.
After an investigation, detectives determined that the injuries were the result of repeated physical punishment using an extension cord. Some of the wounds on the children were found to date back several weeks, indicating ongoing abuse.
