SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – We started the weekend with concerns for severe weather in some spots around the area, but we will end the weekend dealing with heat and humidity. Today will remain dry across the region, with southerly flow bringing temperatures back into the upper 80s and lower 90s. We could also approach some daily record highs today in some areas, clouds permitting, as most are in the lower 90s! Clouds clear, for the most part, by the evening and into the early morning on Monday before clouds move back in to start the day.
To start the new week, the hot and humid conditions continue with highs back in the 80s and an abundance of sunshine! Tuesday appears to be mostly dry, but during the overnight hours we could see a few showers creep into our far northern zones near McCurtain County.
