Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins trolley to appear in Colorado film

A stretch of West Mountain Avenue — and one of Fort Collins’ frozen-in-time streetcars — may be making a big-screen appearance in an upcoming feature film.

“The Man Who Changed The World” tells the real-life story of Bud Stoecker, a self-made Colorado inventor and father of five, as he tries to bring his ideas to life. The film is largely set in Boulder, where Bud Stoecker was born, and Westminster, where he raised his family, according to the film’s location manager Miranda Carnessale. All of its filming took place in Colorado.

The movie stars Chris Lowell, known for “The Help” and “Promising Young Woman”; Jeanine Mason, from the CW drama “Roswell, New Mexico”; and Wallace Shawn, known for his roles on “Young Sheldon” and the 1987 classic “The Princess Bride,” according to Deadline . It was directed by Greg Pritkin…
