My Auto Group has expanded its West Michigan footprint with the acquisition of a family-owned car dealership that has operated for more than a century near Grand Rapids.
On April 2, the Fruitport Township-based My Auto Group closed on a deal for Plainfield Township-based Gezon Motors Inc., a woman-owned dealership selling the Volkswagen, Mitsubishi and Nissan brands at 3985 Plainfield Ave. NE.
The four-building, 20,374-square-foot dealership has been rebranded as My Auto Grand Rapids and is the dealership group’s tenth West Michigan store. Other My Auto Group dealerships include powersports and new and used Subaru, Volkswagen, Ford, Nissan and Jeep dealerships in the Muskegon area, Alma and Mount Pleasant.
