LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sacred Heart Academy senior Adelyn Gee has always been laser-focused on her future.
“I’ve known since seventh grade I wanted to go to Columbia,” Gee said.
Her goals started even earlier than that, when a medical procedure changed the course of her life.
“At seven years old, I was diagnosed with Tether Cord Syndrome. My spinal cord was too tight. So I underwent surgery and ever since then I’ve just absolutely loved neuroscience and just found it so fascinating,” she said…
