BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – Virginia State Police have released the names of two people killed in a crash Sunday in Bedford County.
Charles L. and Ellen P. Schlotthober, 77 and 76 years old, both from Roanoke, died at the scene of the crash on Route 460 at the intersection of Route 698 in Bedford County.
Police say Charles Schlotthober, with Ellen as his passenger, was driving a Toyota Tacoma April 27, 2025, turning onto eastbound Route 460 and failing to yield the right-of-way, and was struck by a the driver of a Chevrolet Suburban…
