Tallahassee man arrested after allegedly shooting neighbors’ dog Sunday, per court records

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man was arrested Sunday night after being accused of shooting his neighbors’ dog, according to court records.

John Pender, 30, initially faced charges of aggravated animal cruelty, child cruelty and armed burglary in connection to the incident on Heathrow Drive, his arrest papers revealed.

However, during a court hearing Monday, a judge found no probable cause for the armed burglary charge and set a $2,500 bond for each of the other two charges…
