A Skiatook Police Officer has the gratitude of a friendly dog and her family after rescuing the animal from beneath a backyard shed.
The owner of the adventurous pooch – named Princess – discovered the dog had gotten trapped under the shed in her own backyard early last week. The owner was unable to free Princess and called the police. A Skiatook Officer responded to the call and quickly got to work with a shovel in an attempt to dig the cornered canine out of her predicament. After a bit of work, the officer was able to reach the muddy but otherwise uninjured dog and free her from beneath the shed.
The owner was happy to have the dog back, safe and sound, while Princess was instantly smitten with her rescuer, whom she rewarded with lots of tail-wagging and kisses…
