Watch Russell Dickerson Dance With Savannah Bananas To Summertime Anthem, ‘Happen To Me’

Russell Dickerson found himself at the heart of the action during the Savannah Bananas game at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C., on April 26. With a record-breaking 81,000 fans in attendance, the country star delivered his viral single, “Happen To Me.”

The fun-filled event began with Clemson football head coach Dabo Swinney leading the team’s run down the hill to the stadium. Once inside, the celebrity appearances continued throughout the evening with Dickerson and former Clemson running back C.J. Spiller.

Dickerson fit right in with the team, who’s become known for their dancing abilities on the field. He donned his very own yellow Savannah Bananas while singing the song that’s expected to continue heating up stages all summer long. Mid-way through the performance, he stopped at the pitcher’s mound to dance alongside a few players, raising the energy among the crowd for the remainder of the game.

When he wasn’t singing his heart out, the Tennessee native got to watch the intense game unfold alongside his wife, Kailey, who was also sporting a jersey with the same number as her hubby. At the end of the night the Bananas took home the win, breaking a six-game losing streak.
