Police search for Lancaster County woman accused of making nearly $8,500 in purchases on stolen credit cards

LANCASTER, Pa. — Police in Lancaster County are searching for a woman accused of using fraudulent credit cards to make nearly $8,500 in purchases.

Elizabeth Carol Adair, 28, was charged with identity theft and access device fraud on April 24 after an investigation by Manheim Township Police.

According to police, a victim contacted authorities on Jan. 9 to report someone had made $6,694.32 worth of fraudulent purchases using her credit card. The purchases occurred between Oct. 23 and Dec. 27, 2024, the victim told police…
