STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The grand opening of a new Albanian Community Center in Midland Beach drew hundreds of visitors on Sunday.
Staten Island elected officials joined members for a ribbon-cutting celebration at the new community center, where LaRocca’s Italian Ices & Pizzeria, a longtime Midland Beach staple, once stood at 489 Midland Ave.
