A sports car driver accused of repeatedly fleeing from El Paso police, including nearly hitting a police sergeant with his car, has been arrested, court officials said.
Luis Alberto Ruiz Jr., 21, was arrested following a tip identifying him to Crime Stoppers of El Paso after the case was featured as a Crime of the Week earlier this month, an assistant district attorney said at a Sunday, April 27, teleconference bond hearing for Ruiz.
