NORTH OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A few days after authorities found the body of one of the three girls who went missing in the Missouri River earlier this month, two more bodies have been found in the water, according to Omaha Police.
Authorities said the bodies, found at about 10 a.m. Tuesday on the surface of the water just south of the OPPD plant, are believed to be that of 18-year-old Laiana Green and 11-year-old Eh Cress Moo. The two bodies were found a few hundred yards apart on the Nebraska side of the Missouri River.
Green and Eh Cress Moo went missing along with 18-year-old Lah Tray Moo about two weeks ago. Lah Tray Moo’s body was found near the same area at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday night.
On April 15, four girls were fishing when a witness says they saw them struggling to get out of the water. Authorities said one of the girls slipped into the river, and the others went into the water trying to rescue her. Only one of them got out. The families have said that she is heartbroken but is getting care and support and staying strong through the ordeal…
