Violence prevention program in Lehigh Valley says it’s being impacted by loss of federal funding

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – An Allentown-based nonprofit says it’s facing a major cut in federal funding.

You see its staff members all over the Lehigh Valley. The men and women in the orange shirts that say “End Gun Violence.” That’s the main goal of Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley, but the nonprofit said a cut in its federal funding just made that goal harder.
