Out of a Jam is a local nonprofit that has been helping feed the greater Fort Wayne area, while helping individuals find a successful path. Paula Kaufman and her husband, Bernie, have a mission to provide food to people who might not know where their next meal is coming from.
“When COVID hit, we knew that there was going to be a great need,” Paula said. “There was an abundance of food that was being thrown away, so we started to rescue that food. We turned it into two pound ready-to-eat meals that are high protein, moderate carbohydrates, lots of vegetables, low in sodium and sugar and fat, all of those kind of things.”…
