FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an overnight crash on southbound Interstate 469 that left one person in critical condition.
The crash happened around 12:26 a.m. on I-469 near the Wheelock Road overpass.
Police say a Blue Ford Edge and a blue Chevy Trailblazer headed south on the interstate when they collided for an unknown reason.
They say the Trailblazer went off the road, rolled down the embankment, and caught fire. The driver of that vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical condition…
