GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Homeless Outreach Prevention Empowerment (HOPE) Center plans to reopen next week on West Gate City Boulevard, less than a week after Tiny House Community Development said it was planning to scale back operations.
Last week, the HOPE Center announced it would close Monday through Friday amid funding issues. Tiny House Community Development asked the city of Greensboro for financial help, but the city was not able to provide funds.
The center said the change of plans is thanks to a “generous donation” from an anonymous donor. The HOPE Center now plans to open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
