Each May, the United States observes Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month—a time to recognize and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of AANHPI communities across the nation. Spanning over 50 ethnic groups and more than 100 languages, AANHPI individuals bring diverse perspectives, resilience, and vibrancy to every aspect of American life—from arts and science to public service and beyond. Celebrating AANHPI heritage means honoring the past, embracing cultural identity, and recognizing the ongoing impact of these communities in building a more inclusive future.
