Beginning May 1, as part of Wildfire Awareness Month, more than 200 Spanish goats from High Desert Grazing are being used to help reduce wildfire dangers in the Somersett community.
The goats will clear approximately 20 acres of vegetation above Somersett in the area between Pepperwood Court, Mountain Spirit Trail, and Peavine Valley Road.
