Lawsuit, sources reveal details of Spartanburg County sheriff’s ‘hit list’

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Multiple sources are painting a picture of the environment inside the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office under the leadership of Sheriff Chuck Wright, alleging he had a “hit list” of people he wanted to force out for supporting another candidate in last year’s primary race.

A new lawsuit is accusing Wright of similar conduct.
