‘We’re in good shape’: No layoffs expected at Ford’s Louisville manufacturing plants, CEO says

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Ford Motor Company CEO Jim Farley says he doesn’t expect any layoffs at the company’s two major Louisville manufacturing facilities, the Louisville Assembly Plant (LAP) and the Kentucky Truck Plant (KTP), as economic uncertainty swirls around the American auto industry.

WHAS11 asked Farley if he foresees LAP or KTP workers losing their jobs as a result of President Donald Trump’s trade policies. This would include 12,000 Louisville employees.
