STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — An investigation is underway to determine how a teen patient at Coral Shores Behavioral Health in Stuart ended up dead.
Martin County Sheriff’s Office said Denzelle Sullivan, 17, was found by a nurse unresponsive inside a shower at the facility with the water running over the weekend. Martin County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff John Budensiek said upon the discovery, the nurse contacted 911.
“Fire rescue started working this individual, transported him to Cleveland Clinic South and then they transferred him down to St Mary’s Medical Center,” Budensiek said. “And unfortunately even with all the life saving measures they were not able to save his life.”…
