ROSEVILLE, Calif. — A Roseville mother is warning fellow parents after her 13-year-old daughter and her friend were approached by a man in a truck offering them a ride near a neighborhood intersection.
Mother of two Michelle Harvey says it happened Monday around 4 p.m. as the two teens were riding their bicycles near the intersection of Junction Boulevard and Americana Drive, not far from an elementary school.
“So, they’re crossing the crosswalk and he had his window down or rolled it down – I’m not sure – but his window was down and he said, ‘Do you girls want a ride home?’ And my daughter said she immediately just looked straight ahead and just booked it to the other side of the crosswalk and they went straight to Taco Bell, making sure he wasn’t following them,” said Harvey…
