( KRON ) — A man was arrested after robbing a Wells Fargo Bank in Windsor on Tuesday, the Sonoma County Sheriff said. The robbery happened around 10:37 a.m. at the bank on Lakewood Drive where a 39-year-old man demanded the teller money via a note.
The man got out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash on an electric scooter, the sheriff’s office said. A deputy later found discarded clothing on Los Amigos Road, which was linked to the robbery.
The alleged bank robber was also wanted on an outstanding warrant. His car was found, about 2.5 miles away from the Wells Fargo, at 65 Shiloh Road where he was arrested. Authorities secured a search warrant and executed it at his apartment and car…
