GENOA, Ohio — Authorities took a man into custody Wednesday evening he barricaded himself in the basement of a Genoa home when they tried to serve a felony warrant for his arrest, according to the Ottawa County sheriff.
Sheriff Stephen Levorchick told WTOL 11 that authorities tased 47-year-old Dean Rahe to subdue him enough that the sheriff’s office’s SWAT team could remove him from the home north of Genoa on state Route 51.
