An road connecting Lakeshore State Park to a Milwaukee street is getting a gate − which city officials hope will help stop people from entering the park after hours.
That late night activity leaves behind liquor bottles, drug paraphernalia and condoms, according to residents from the nearby Hansen’s Landing condominiums, 541 E. Erie St.
The gate will be installed this fall on a road connecting Erie Street to the park’s southern tip. Meanwhile, Hansen’s Landing condo owners and other Historic Third Ward residents want more attention from police − which seems unlikely, one official said…
