Roadwork continues throughout Eugene as favorable weather persists, ushering in a warm welcome to spring with plenty of sunshine and opportunities to make progress on current construction projects.
The City of Eugene’s road work advisories have been updated for the week as of April 29. Here’s what’s in store for commuters around town.
W. 4th Avenue between Polk Street and Blair Boulevard
Plans are in place for some traffic interruptions on W. 4th Avenue between Polk Street and Blair Boulevard, the stretch of road in the Whiteaker neighborhood that provides access to Scobert Gardens Park .
These changes aren’t planned until May 8 through 15, so travelers have plenty of time to plan ahead. Major disruptions are not expected. Plans include closing the westbound lane to allow for the removal and replacement of a concrete street panel.
