PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — The Camas School District announced to staff they need to make major cuts to next year’s budget amid a multi-million-dollar funding shortfall.
To balance the budget for the 2025-26 school year, expenditures must be reduced by 10-12%, or about $13.3-15.6 million, the Camas School District said .

Several staff members within the district were told on Monday that their contracts will not be renewed in the fall, while others are facing a pay cut.
