Akron Police, FBI arrests teen with gun, 100+ grams of meth, fentanyl, over $8K

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – Akron Police Department’s Anti-Violence Bureau and FBI Safe Streets seized more than 100 grams of methamphetamine, 50 grams of fentanyl and over $8,000 and arrested a 19-year-old.

On Wednesday, according to a release from Akron Police, law enforcement executed a search warrant in the 2400 block of Eastgate Avenue.

Detectives seized one handgun, approximately $8,600 in cash, 188 grams of methamphetamine, 50 grams of fentanyl, a currency counter, and a pill press.
