ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – Albemarle County Public School received some online backlash after students claimed not being able to access Gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sear’s campaign site.
The school division is clarifying that this was due to the AI it uses to filter out inappropriate websites from student access.
In a statement sent to 29News, ACPS Spokesperson Helen Dunn said that AI, Lightspeed, is used to protect students from harmful sites. Winsome Earle-Sears’s site was not blocked, but rather, had not yet been reviewed…
