Alabama’s first-class Pre-K program is declared as the best in the nation for the 19th year

ALABAMA ( WDHN ) – Governor Ivey announced that Alabama’s first-class Pre-K program is the best program in the nation for the 19th year in a row.

The 2024 state of preschool report card said that Alabama is one of five states in the country to meet 10 out of 10 research-based quality benchmarks that is giving them this special recognition.

The program has evolved so much over the years for all 67 counties in the Yellowhammer state…
