San Diego Unified investigates alleged student ‘hit list’ at middle school

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego Unified School District is investigating after a student at Millennial Tech Middle School allegedly developed a “hit list.”

District spokesperson James Canning confirmed the potential threat to FOX 5/KUSI, but did not disclose any additional details about what it entailed. However, he noted the district’s police are speaking with the student who reportedly created the list to learn more.

In an email to families, Millennial Tech Middle School Principal Nicola Labas said the student was not in possession of any weapons or “inappropriate items” when they were escorted to speak with school police.
