DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) – A Michigan man is facing charges after a traffic stop in DeKalb County on Tuesday.
According to Indiana State Police, a driver—later identified as Steven Yntema, 65, of Saginaw—was traveling through a construction zone without headlights or taillights.
During the stop, police say they spotted what they believed was an illegal substance. Field tests later confirmed it was cocaine. Police also said they found drug paraphernalia and a handgun in Yntema’s car.
