ROANOKE, Ind. (WANE) — Two people are dead following a shooting Thursday night in Roanoke. It happened at a home on Allen Street, in the Crestwood addition.
According to the Huntington County Sheriff’s Office, someone called 911 shortly after 9 p.m. to report a shooting at the residence. When officers arrived, they found two male victims with gunshot wounds inside the home. After receiving emergency care at the scene, medics took the victims to a Fort Wayne hospital in serious condition. Doctors pronounced both dead a short time later.
Around 10:30 p.m. the Huntington County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that there is no public safety threat in the Roanoke area. They did ask the public to avoid the Crestwood addition as police investigate…
