FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – April 2025 is in the books and it was overall a pretty typical April here in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.

Starting with the temperatures, we ended up slightly above average in Fort Wayne for the month, with a long stretch of below average days early in the month being balanced out pretty well by a long stretch of above average days later in the month. Our highest temperature for the month was 84°, which we reached on the 24th and the 29th. Our lowest temperature for the month was our 23° low temperature on April 8th. We ultimately recorded the 28th warmest April in Fort Wayne’s history, with weather records dating back to 1897.
