LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WXIX) – The 151st running of the Kentucky Derby is only days away, and as one of the largest sporting events of the year, officials say it’s also one of the most dangerous weeks for human trafficking.
“I know this is an exciting week for most, but we have to also confront some realities of large events like the Kentucky Derby,” says Kentucky Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman.
