(FOX40.COM) — The California Highway Patrol South Sacramento has announced that its officers will be conducting a driving under the influence and driver’s license checkpoint on Saturday.
The goal of the CHP is to ensure the safe passage of every motorist through proactive enforcement and education, according to CHP South Sacramento.

“The sobriety and driver license safety checkpoint will be staffed by a team of CHP officers who will be responsible for providing both enforcement and education, warning drivers of the dangers of drinking and driving,’ reads a statement from CHP South Sacramento.
