Two Savannah buildings receive statewide awards

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Two historic buildings in Savannah received statewide preservation awards from the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation at a ceremony in Brunswick last week.

Winners from the Savannah area were the Scottish Rite Temple and the Doyle House.

The Scottish Rite Temple received an award for Excellence in Preservation, which recognizes the appropriate preservation of historic resources and creative interpretations of historic sites.
